The Founder & CEO: Darren A. Smith
Darren has worked in the world of supermarkets and suppliers for over 24 years. For the first 12 years, he worked as a Buyer & Category Manager in Big 4 UK supermarkets.
He then founded MBM and has spent the last 14 years working with suppliers on People Development. He has been published by The Grocer and Forbes whilst also appearing on Channel 4 and the BBC.
What Makes Our Learning the Stickiest?

Why Were Coaching Cards Created?
Google’s ‘Project Oxygen‘ conducted a study that concluded coaching is the skill that managers are poor at doing, but coaching is the skill managers need to be the best at doing.
Who? GROW Coaching Cards are for line managers who know that they should be coaching but don’t know where to begin.
What? The GROW deck features questions designed to help coachees identify their strengths & goals. Through these 80 goal setting cards coachees answer questions they don’t want to answer & reach for deeper solutions.
Why? Line managers tell but need to coach. The GROW model provides an easy-to-follow framework that will improve the manager’s self confidence when coaching. It will improve their team’s critical thinking therefore eliminating the bottleneck of the line manager.
